In October 2023, Hilti launched the new FX3-A cordless stud welding and locking tool, which significantly reduces welding time. Compared with previous models, this tool handles higher loads and thinner base materials, operates 75% faster than traditional welding methods, and is a fully portable automated tool requiring no power cord. This fastening method is also safer than traditional welding, as it protects users from heat and fumes. Since it generates virtually no sparks or spatter smoke and eliminates the need for angle grinders for surface preparation, it offers significant advantages from a health and safety perspective.
