19 source records. Standards, editions and conditions are presented separately; matching grade names do not establish interchangeability.
Refer to each source for mass fractions and analysis type. Missing values are not treated as 0. Manufacturer typical values, standard guarantees and measured heat results must remain separate. Use the material selector for calculations and condition selection.
Not listed in our catalog? You are welcome to submit your requirements. We assess whether our equipment, production lines and process capabilities suit your grade, product form, dimensions, processing and delivery requirements, then discuss possible processing, trials or supply arrangements.
Feasibility and supply terms are confirmed after technical review. The standard information on this page is not a supply or performance commitment.

Applicability and limitations
Composition based on ISO 4954:2018; the product edition is unspecified, so confirm the edition applicable to the contract.
Composition conditions
ISO 4954:2018, Table D.2 gives heat analysis; A single value is a maximum; a dash is not zero.
Product-analysis tolerances are listed separately under Table 2/3 of the standard and do not directly widen the heat-analysis composition ranges.
Unlisted elements must not be intentionally added without purchaser consent, except for additions needed to finish the heat.

Actual source: DIN EN 10263-5:2002-02; German adoption of EN 10263-5:2001, PDF p. 8 Table 2 and Notes a–e. / Default is ladle analysis, mass fraction wt%; product-analysis deviations are separately governed by Table 3 and are not added to default ladle ranges. / Unlisted elements must not be intentionally added without purchaser approval (except as necessary during steelmaking); residual elements must not impair performance or use. / This older edition does not use the 2017 edition’s conditional sulfur provisions; do not copy newer machining/welding/polishing options. / For Ti-stabilized grades, verify 5×C≤Ti≤0.70% using measured C; do not apply this condition to grades without Ti. / The standard covers cold heading/cold extrusion; actual supply, dimensions, delivery condition and properties still require confirmation.
Composition conditions
Source actually used: DIN EN10263-5:2002-02, the German-language adoption of EN10263-5:2001; PDF8, Table 2 and notes a–e.
Default heat analysis in wt%.; Apply product-analysis tolerances in Table 3 separately; do not add them to the default heat-analysis range.
Unlisted elements must not be intentionally added without purchaser consent, except additions needed to finish steelmaking; Residual elements must not impair the properties or intended use.
The older table does not use the 2017 edition’s separate sulfur conditions; do not copy machining/welding/polishing options from the newer edition..
For Ti-stabilized grades, check 5×C≤Ti≤0.70% against measured C.; Does not apply to grades for which Ti is not specified.
Standard range for cold-heading and cold-extrusion; actual supply, dimensions, delivery condition, and performance still require confirmation..

EN 10088-1:2005 Table 4 and continuation: ladle analysis (wt%); the official SIST adoption preview PDF, pages 11/12, covers all 50 grades and notes. Note a: unlisted elements are not intentionally added without purchaser consent, except as needed to complete steelmaking; a blank is not zero. Note b: for grades marked b only, S is selected separately for long products and by property requirement. Note d: the increased Ni maximum for special reasons applies only to listed grades, not all grades. Note c: Cu up to 1.0% for cold heading/extrusion; this condition path is provided here only for grades with blank Cu in the original table. Existing Cu alloy ranges retain their original values; the exception has not automatically rewritten them. The linked Ti≥5C/Nb≥10C and Ti≥8(C+N) conditions are retained; an unlisted N maximum is not zero. Note e: the source warns of skin-contact regulatory issues for high-sulfur free-machining steel; this is retained as a historical warning only and is not a claim of current compliance based on the 2005 text. Listed chemistry and the cold-heading Cu exception alone do not establish overall cold-heading performance or company supply; mechanical and product standards must be checked separately, and national adoption does not mean automatic equivalence.

Applicability and limitations
ISO 15510:2014, Table 1 gives heat analysis, mass fractions wt%; Under note a, values without a stated range or minimum are maxima; a dash is not treated as zero. Composition rows follow an excerpt of the official PDF edition; relevant footnotes follow the original Table 1 in the Sample text section of the standards publishing platform; Verification of the complete standard text or mechanical properties is not claimed. The standard covers material for wrought products, including ingots and semi-finished products; Similar composition does not establish direct substitution; cold-heading suitability and supply condition require separate confirmation. The S 0.015–0.030% machinability recommendations, 0.008–0.020% weldability recommendation and S≤0.015% polishability recommendation in note b concern specific properties and do not directly replace this row’s sulfur limits. Note c applies only where ferrite content must be reduced for special reasons such as hot workability or low magnetic permeability; The increased Ni maximum is not treated as an unconditional range.

Applicability and limitations
DIN EN 10263-5:2018-02 is the German-language edition of EN 10263-5:2017; This record was verified against heat analysis and footnotes in Table 3 of the official German edition. ; Heat-analysis mass fractions wt%; Product-analysis tolerances follow Table 4 separately. ; The sulfur conditions for machining, welding and polishing in Table 3, note b are retained separately; different requirements are not imposed simultaneously. ; Ti-stabilized grades require 5×C≤Ti≤0.70%, checked jointly with measured C/Ti. ; This standard covers stainless steel for cold heading and cold extrusion; delivery condition, dimensions, surface and mechanical properties still require independent confirmation. ; Unlisted elements must not be intentionally added without purchaser consent, except additions needed to finish steelmaking; unspecified contents are not treated as zero.

Applicability and limitations
Give priority to the published technical page on the Creation Group website. Use local reference ranges only as supplementary composition cross-checks; the applicable standard for that product page, the technical agreement and actual verification take precedence.
