X1NICRMOCU25- 20-5

1 source records. Standards, editions and conditions are presented separately; matching grade names do not establish interchangeability.

Refer to each source for mass fractions and analysis type. Missing values are not treated as 0. Manufacturer typical values, standard guarantees and measured heat results must remain separate. Use the material selector for calculations and condition selection.

Applicability and limitations

DIN EN10270-3:2012-01 adopts EN10270-3:2011; this record uses composition from the verified original text of that EN edition.. EN 10270-3:2011 Table 1 heat analysis, mass fraction wt%; The source is an official public SIST excerpt of 11 pages; all 6 rows of Table 1 and notes a–e are included in full.. The scope is stainless spring steel wire with a circular cross-section diameter ≤10mm, usually delivered in the cold-drawn condition.; Mechanical requirements must be agreed upon for 10–15mm and other steel types not listed separately in Table 1; cold-heading product applicability shall not be automatically confirmed based on this. Table 1 Note a allows other compositions to be agreed upon; the ranges listed in the table shall not be altered without such agreement.; Clause 4.4.2: Apply product-analysis tolerances separately under EN10088-3; for the same element in the same heat, deviations must not occur both above the upper limit and below the lower limit.. Note c allows the use of 1.4436 to improve corrosion resistance, subject to the provisions of this standard for 1.4401.; The chemical composition of 1.4436 is not listed separately in this table and shall not be duplicated as the same composition. Note d allows the Ni upper limit to be increased to 8.30% only when improving the cold forming performance of X7CrNiAl17-7, which is listed as a separate condition.; Unlisted elements are not entered as zero. Chemical clauses and footnotes have been verified; it is not declared that all mechanical properties, dimensional tolerances, tests, and annex contents have been verified..
